Foodies: The Higher the Dosage the Better
How are you my dearest readers!? Hope you're all doing great! Sorry for not updating my blogsite on time! Forgive me for that. Haha! 😊
The menu:
But any how, I'm glad I had free time to visit new food discoveries lately. I'd like to share it with you. Be ready to drool! Haha!
Let's start!
Have you heard about drug abuse through over dosing? We often find it through movies or on television, right?
What's the connection of that issue on this blog, anyway? Haha! I just want you guys to have a hint on the resto's theme menu! Are you curius now? That's exactly what I felt before visiting that place.
Just to have some sort of introduction, the resto that I'm referring was just introduced to me by a close friend last week. Should I say couple of days ago? Haha! She ate there with her boyfriend. Infact, I just saw her status post on her FB account and I was just curious about the resto's name. It's quite so interesting. Then, I asked her the about the resto's food. If it's good or not? She answered well and said that it's delicious.
Before going, of course I need to have a background check. First and foremost, I need to check the cost I'll spend! Is it wallet friendly? Will i afford to dine in? Do the location easy to find? Finding the answer almost all using the web. But what please me so well is the fact that all the comments that they get for their customers on their FB account were highly recommended. Who would not be pleased, right?
Anyways, the resto's name is RICE OVERDOSE. If you'll think of the name itself, It's about rice and the word "overdosing". Let's check it's meaning with Miss Meriam Webster.
She says that it's an amount of something that is too much. So if you'll connect the two words, it simply means that the rice is too much! So it's unlimited, maybe? Haha
Yes! They offer unlimited rice. Too cool, right?
Me and my food buddy of the day went their for lunch. I ordered garlic buttered shrimp with nutella milk shake while my buddy ordered beef tenderloin steak with tom yum soup and blue spirit beverage.
While waiting for our order that took 10-15 minutes to prepare, we talked about the resto's ambiance. The green motif (which is one of my fave's color) and the simplicity of the resto makes it more convenient and classy to dine. As an addition to it's cleanliness of course.
Orders were served and we started to be amazed. Food preparation wise, it's too cool and appetizing to eat. As if I was in 5 star hotel dining in. Good job for that!
With it's taste, it's good too. I really enjoyed it. Ooops! Let's go back to it's name itself. It serves unlimited rice. But not just an ordinary plain or garlic rice, okay? They serves 3 special rice flavors that make the resto more unique to other resto's nearby. They have binagoongan rice, adobo rice, and beef barbeque rice which are all flavors from the Philippines.
Believe it or not, I had 2 cups of rice. Hahaha! Weird, right? Can't help myself to add more. Maybe it's the resto that the word DIET is not allowed. Diet break! Haha! As what the resto quote is saying "the higher the dosage the better".
The ambiance and the food justifies the price! Thumbs up for Rice Overdose. I had really good time dining in. Try to visit it and enjoy their meals.
