Halo Halo de Iloko Balay
It is again the surfing break season in our province in the Philippines. I've been absent for 3 consecutive years already. I miss the waves and party at the seashore with some circle of friends.
Located at P. Burgos Street and Zandueta Street, City of San Fernando, La Union, Halo-halo de Iloko Balay is a must visit when heading North.
The outside appearance is just like a 2-storey house decorated with colorful stuffs. But the interior is absolutely cool. It is decorated with pieces of artworks from paintings, sculptures and delight.
It's not my first time to dine here already. I've been here many times and I can say that their "okoy" is the best!
Here's what we ordered for our merienda.
Pancit Bihon:
Pancit will always be my fave merienda in any occasions.
Fiesta Halo-Halo
Best eaten during summer seasons.
Okoy Tikyosko
Oh well, as I said earlier, it's my fave food here in this restaurant. It is best eaten with Sukang Iloko. I highly recommend it.
The restaurant offers many more. They have variations of halo-halo and some delicacies that you might probably like. I'll try some food when I'll visit again the place. But over-all, it's a good place to eat. Many local artists of the Philippines already tried eating here. It was also featured in many TV programs already.
Me and my college friend Gina (@narsgin) just had some snack together few days before my flight back to Abu Dhabi.
I'll surely comeback again here. Until my next blog post guys!
