Let's Travel: Yas Waterworld

Despite all the tons of stressors and hardships i've been experiencing with my work, finally, I am now updating my blog site. I really miss you already readers!

But don't worry coz I'm trying my very best to update my site just for you. My work gets almost all my hours in a day that's why I can't even go out and have some fun already. I pity my self. Haha! 

But anyways, I just want to share my full adventure and experiene to the one of UAE's waterparks, Yas Waterworld. I had  so much fun with the whole experience so let's start then.

Next door to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and at the centre of Yas Island’s entertainment complex, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is the largest waterpark in the capital. Spread over 15 hectares, the waterpark will feature a thrilling range of 45 rides, slides and attractions. Four rides will be one-of-a-kind that have never been seen in a waterpark.

Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi's theme is based on a legend that represents local Emirati culture and heritage. Visitors will be able to enjoy attractions that follow the adventures of the waterpark's main character Dana – a young Emirati girl in search of a legendary pearl that brought prosperity to her village. Building on the legend, the park will have a unique pearl diving attraction that showcases the role pearl diving played in the UAE’s rich history (www.yaswaterworld.com).

As one of almost all the pool resorts' protocol, everyone should wear proper swimming attire to be able to have a wonderful experience. 

I also met the famous young Emirati girl, Dana. She's the UAE's pearl princess, I guess. Haha!

Actually, there are 4 levels of thrill ontheir different rides.

1. Adrenaline Rush- If you're a fan of extremes, the rides with this level best suits you. You'll surely have fun with the 6 rides that gives you a breathetaking experience. 

The Rush Rider- This endless sheet wave brings SoCal-style fun in the sun to Abu Dhabi! Rush Rider is the ideal place for you to begin your flowboarding and surfing career before graduating to Bubbles’ Barrel in the big league. (www.yaswaterworld.com)

"Anyways, I don't know how to surf and I'm still planning to learn this sport when I'll have my vacay to PI. That's why I didn't try this."

The Bubble's Barrel- The world’s largest surf-able sheet wave is here! With a 3m-high wave and 1,250-horsepower pumps pushing 7,000 litres of water per second, Bubbles’ Barrel packs some serious surf power for an incredible adrenaline rush! (www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Liwa Loop- Ever wanted to drop straight into a high-intensity, looping waterslide? You’ve finally got your chance with Liwa Loop – the first looping waterslide of its kind in the Middle East! (www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Hamlool's Humps- R Kelly believes he can fly; get on Hamlool’s Humps and you will too! Three massive humps on this slide will have you feeling airborne. It’s deceptive too – you can’t imagine how tall and long the ride is until you get to the top! (www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Jebel Drop- We think the platform for Jebel Drop is the best vantage point in the entire park. Of course, everything you see from here will be really small because it’s such a monstrous drop. Dare to give it a go? (www.yaswaterworld.com)

* So with the extreme level, I just tried one ride. I'm really proud of myself tho. Haha. Better have one than nothing, right? Haha "

2. Exciting Adventure- If you're not in to that extreme kind of rides, why don't you try to enjoy yourself with 7 high level adventures.

The Falcon's Falaj- You want a rush of blood to the head, look no further than Falcon’s Falaj. A six-person water coaster, Falcon’s Falaj will take you on a wild ride over twists, turns, rapids and drops – all guaranteed to have you shrieking with that perfect combination of fear and delight. (www.yaswaterworld.com)

"Oh yeah! We tried this as well! The Dawwama is scarrier that this. If you can't try the Dawwama, then this one is for you."

The Sebag- Race on! Who’s fastest? Launch headfirst and compete with your friends and family to the finish line, while keeping an eye on the stopwatch at the bottom. Only the winners have bragging rights for the rest of the day! (www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Serpent Spin- Are you ready to take the plunge? After two sharp turns, guests will drop through a water curtain into the darkness of the bowl and spin around, lit only by tiny LED lights, around the bowl’s periphery, before getting ejected down into a landing pool. (www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Slither Allay- Don’t be fooled by this ride’s gentle beginning. Slither Alley hides a series of sharp drops and a water curtain separating the dark tunnel from bright sunlight, lots of surprises are in store as you descend to the pool.

The Slither Surprise- The slithery fun continues with this torturous ravine, which makes riders believe they are being tossed between rocks. It’s a real bumpy ride as you go through steep drops and oscillations where the gaps between the rocks are wider. You’d better hang on tight!(www.yaswaterworld.com)

The Snake's Tail- Keep focused and hold on tight as you’ll feel like you’re falling off your ring as sound, light and chilled fog combine at the depth of the Jebel, before you know it, you’ll be thrown out into the bright light and a warm water pool.(www.yaswaterworld.com)

"With all the snake's slide, I am not sure what is the one we took. Haha! But anyways, it's very awesome! The sound effects and the darkness inside then suddenly there's a light effect! Awesome experience indeed! Haha!"

The Bandit Bomber- A one of a kind - the Bandit Bomber will keep you hanging on the Middle East’s longest suspended rollercoaster for 550 metres! With onboard special water and laser effects take aim to splash all those walking below. (www.yaswaterworld.com)

"The coolest ride! I thought it's the scariest ride among all, but not that tho! I expect more than what I experienced. But over-all It's really cool!"

3. Moving & Grooving- You want a ride that will not make your heary pop out? The 8 medium rides will help you not to extreme.

The Water Wars- In Water Wars you’ll find yourself in full-scale water balloon warfare with all of your friends! Simply purchase a bucket of balloons and get firing!!

The Amwaj- With the pearl looming above, enjoy the alternating ebb and flow of the incredible wave patterns. It’ll give new meaning to the term “life’s a beach”!

The Al Raha River (The Lazy River)- Feel like a chill out session? Well grab yourself a tube and float gently through the winding streams and caverns of the Al Raha River. Relax, sit back and enjoy the ride!

The Jabha Zone- In the path of Bandit Bomber, Cannon Point is equipped with water cannons which transform the roller coaster riders into targets! But shooters beware, Bandit Bomber carries gallons of water primed and ready to drop on all who lurk below.

The Yadi Yas- Yadi Yas is no lazy river; it’s more like an action-packed wadi ride. Hold on tight to your tube to stay afloat as the pulse wave takes you on a fun and exciting adventure.

The Sand Viper Strike- Twist! Turn! Right! Left! Up! Down! Watch out for the double hump at the end as you hurtle down the Sand Viper Strike!

The Sidewinder- Where will you end up? That’s the question! Enjoy the thrilling rush as you wind away with your friend, speeding through the dark Sidewinder to see who will land in the pool first! 

The Cannon Point- A fun spray and play area for the family – watch out, you might get extra wet as the Bandit Bomber flies overhead.

4. Young Fun- We will always remain young at hearts. But this 3 low level ride will make the youngsters and the kiddos enjoy with their parents! 

The Marah Fortress- Imagine the ultimate children’s playground: six slides, two dumping buckets, a water-shooting geyser and water cannons! What more could you ask for?!

The Yehal- Want to keep the kids entertained? Well, with three little slides and a dumping bucket, Yehal is the perfect training ground for your little ones before they take on the big rides in years to come.

The Tot's PlayGround- Got tiny tots to entertain? Bring them along to Tot’s Playground, the infant pool and slide complex make it an ideal place for parents who wish to relax whilst keeping an eye on the little ones!

After we tried almost all the rides, we ate lunch already. It was a late lunch tho. Haha

Then, we went to the wave pool! Sea breeze! Cool! 

The whole Yas Waterworld will not be as fun as it was without my friends who invited to join them. Thank You guys!
