Philippines was once colonized by the Spaniards years ago. That's why some of the traditions and customs are basicaly mirrored by them. Most especially in the northern part of the country, some of the words in their native dialect used by the group of people called Ilocanos are similar to Spanish. Their great influence can also be seen on the different architectural works throughout the country. Vigan City , is one of the most prominent city to consider. Recognized by UNESCO World Herritage Site as one of the New7Wonders Cities of the world, Vigan City is popular for its well-preserved spanish architectural houses that is main located in Calle Crisologo at the heart of the city.
