Ilocos Norte's Expedition: Batac City & Paoay
It's the third part of my Ilocos Norte's travel blog. Hope you have enjoyed reading the first 2 parts. Anyways, this were the two last towns we visited. We're really exhausted but still we can't resist to see the beauty that the towns has to offer. Let's start with Batac City, Ilocos Norte. It is another city of Ilocos Norte that known to be the " Home of Great Leaders " as its the hometown of significant figures in the history of the Philippines. Among them is former President Ferdinand Marcos where his museum is also located here. It is also the birthpalce of Gregorio Aglipay, the founder of Philippine Independent Church, better known as the Aglipayan Church, and Gen. Artemio Ricarte, the Father of Philippine Army.
