Ketchup Food Community: Iyak sa Sarap

Image
I've been in Baguio City  in the Philippines for quite sometime now. It is a neighboring city of La Union, my province, so it's just easy to go and visit the place as convenient as it is. As the city of Baguio continues to develop and progress, different establishments were built at the same time. Food chains and different restos are part of it, of course.  For me not to waste time to look for a good resto that really serves delicious menu, I asked some of my good friends who were there. My friend Matty suggested the Ketchup Food Community . He even said that the food is " Iyak sa Sarap " which means " It's goodness will make you cry ". I  find it interesting coz he highly reccommend it to me.  Ketchup Food Community , is place that caters home-grown food concept restaurants of different origins in Baguio City that make up a community of dining places in just an area.  Located along Romula Drive just near the Wright Park where yo...

Best Burger Specialty Restaurant: Kusina de Kenyong

Image
Are you a BURGER lover? Or do you want to try Ilokano's native cuisines in the Philippines?  Kusina de Kenyong is one of the well-known restaurants that you must experience when you are at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is located at Calle Salcedo, Ciudad ng Vigan. Just one block away from the top tourist destination, Calle Crisologo.  My friend already tried eating here so he's the one who led us in choosing our food to eat. Its interior was designed according to what the Vigan City is best known, Spanish old houses. They just added some modernized native wooden furnitures to sustain the theme and to make the ambiance really suitable. We've ordered Fiesta Family 1 good for 4 persons.  Pork Sisig Served in a sizzling plate, their pork sisig is so savory. The spices added compliments well that will surely make you eat more! It smells good too!  Pinakbet Ilocanos are well-known for their famous native pinakbet. The freshly harvested vegetables used are well c...

Ilocos Norte's Expedition: Laoag City

Image
Tagged as the Philippines' " Best Culture and Nature ",  Ilocos Norte is absolutely one of the top choices to explore when you're planning to do a long trip outside of Manila. Ilocos Norte is located in the northwest corner of Luzon island in the Philippines that is well-known as the birth place of the country's former president, Ferdinand Marcos.  When heading to Ilocos Norte, it's better to start from its capital city, Laoag City . Different hotels are available for outside goers and they're just affordable and easily accesible. We're lucky because my friend has relatives wherein we stayed for a day.  Laoag City is where region's main offices and universities are located.  The city's main tourist attraction is the Sinking Bell Tower. St. William's Cathedral in Laoag City is well-known for its Sinking Bell Tower. The 45-meter bell tower was built by Augustinian Friars in 16...
